In Nov 2018, we were lucky enough to have a visit from a restored steam train.

The R707 "City Of Melbourne" has a long history and is now based in Spotswood along with a fleet of other restored trains. They make occasional trips on Vic's main train lines to various towns and it's possible to charter or even get tickets for a ride.
